Write or Copy and Paste an Abstract.

The abstract should describe your research interest and how LC-MS fits into that research plan. The abstract should have a maximum of 750 words. We welcome innovative ideas and encourage the submittal of abstracts related to improving human and environmental health. Specifically, we are seeking research in the following areas, but this is not an exclusive list: water quality analysis, food and food safety, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical.

         

As part of the program, the researcher may receive additional benefits in addition to the grant funds.  The extent of the benefits could include additional training, upgrades, and onsite visits by specialists.  In connection with submitting this application, the applicant should agree to some or all of the following.  These elections will be considered as part of the overall application during the review process.

         
Researcher will serve as a customer reference.   Researcher will provide PerkinElmer with feedback to assist with product enhancements.
Researcher will allow use of its facility and instrumentation to PerkinElmer for demonstration purposes with potential buyers.   Researcher will provide notification to PerkinElmer of technical papers and public presentations utilizing PerkinElmer products.
Researcher will be available to PerkinElmer for speaking engagements, up to a maximum of 3 per year.   Researcher will share data with PerkinElmer to write market-focused application notes.

  1. The application process is open to researchers employed by a research institution within the United States. The grant is awarded to the applicant’s institution, but the individual applicant is deemed to be the Grant Recipient if he/she should be granted an award.
  2. Employees and contractors of PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. (“PerkinElmer”), its affiliates, suppliers, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to apply.
  3. Awarded institutions and researchers are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  4. Awarded institutions agree not to charge overhead or other indirect costs on the awarded funds.
  5. Grant awards will have specific requirements and expiration dates.
  6. It is the responsibility of the researcher to insure that the submitted proposal meets all of the institution's policies and procedures.
  7. Research laboratory must be based in the United States.
  8. All grant submissions shall become the property of PerkinElmer and will not be returned to the applicant. Any confidential information should not be submitted as PerkinElmer will not be responsible for retaining the confidentiality of such information.
  9. Application eligibility must be verified before an application is granted an award. Grant recipients must sign eligibility forms prior to award granting.
  10. Actual amount of grant funds awarded will be calculated using PerkinElmer’s standard list pricing.
